This time on Cthulhu and friends…
The gentlemen are told that Hank’s death might have been a religious sacrifice.
Afterwards they head over to the grocery store to talk with a young man that was around the pier on New Year’s Eve. He tells them that a robot fell from the sky, and that people came up from the sea. They ask the boy to stay vigilant and let them know if he sees anything else.
Then the gentlemen head to a nearby restaurant for a late dinner. After ordering food, Leonard becomes agitated when the young girl that was singing at the pier comes into the diner. Steve introduces himself to the girl, and her mother, Mona. He finds that they are new in town. After Steve and Frank depart for home, Leonard sits down next to Mona. She gives him her number, and then leaves with her daughter.
When Frank arrives home, he receives a warm welcome from his wife, and she tells him about a new church she just attended.
Meanwhile, Steve receives a cold reception when he arrives home. His wife tells him that she heard about a new church, and points him towards a flyer she grabbed. Steve looks at the flyer for the New Beginnings Church.
